Sustainability

Building a Sustainable Business for a Sustainable World

Climate change is the defining challenge of our time and requires a concerted worldwide effort to address the issue. In keeping with community efforts to combat global climate change, governments around the world have established goals to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The transportation sector, including land transport and aviation, is one of the areas where decarbonisation is most needed. Both the EU and the US have set targets for reducing the carbon footprint of the transportation sector as a key area of focus in their pursuit of carbon neutrality.

Solutions

Strategy, and Innovation and Solution

The core strategy of EcoCeres is compatible with our universal need for a sustainable future – converting low value waste-based feedstocks into high value sustainable fuels, chemicals and materials through proprietary technologies. Our solutions turn 100% waste-based biomass into biofuels, biochemicals and biomaterials resulting in over 90% reduction in lifecycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Hydrotreated Vegetable Oils

As a second-generation biofuel, EcoCeres’ HVO is a 100% renewable drop-in fuel produced by deoxygenating waste vegetable oils and animal fats and satisfies EN15940 standards with excellent cold flow properties. HVO can also be upgraded through our proprietary technologies to become SAF.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel

SAF is a jet fuel substitute produced from sustainable feedstock and a main pillar for reducing GHG emissions in the aviation industry. EcoCeres’ SAF satisfies ASTM D7566 Standard Specification for Aviation Turbine Fuel Containing Synthesised Hydrocarbons - Annex A2 (HEFA SPK) and can be safely blended with conventional jet fuel.
